Every time I walk the trails of Lands End, I’m reminded why I love shooting here. There’s drama in the cliffs, calm in the ocean below, and just enough wildness to make each session feel like an adventure. Compared to spots like Crissy Field or Alamo Square, Lands End feels like a hidden retreat.

The mix of ocean textures, towering cypress trees, and historic ruins make this place feel more like a scene from a film than a park trail — and that emotion shows up in the photos.

🌅 Golden Hour at Its Best

Golden hour at Lands End is unforgettable. The light streams through the trees along the Cypress Trail and bathes the ocean in gold. When the fog rolls in, it adds a moody, romantic touch that’s uniquely San Francisco.

One of my favorite moments? A couple forming a heart with their hands in silhouette — backlit by the setting sun and crashing waves. It was pure magic.
